BLUE LACE AGATE ……. the “Gem of Ecology”

Blue lace agate is a light blue stone with delicate bands in a wavy or lacelike pattern. The delicacy of its color can hardly be described using words. Blue lace agate is one of the rarest and most popular of the agates.

Blue Agate is known as the "Gem of Ecology" because of the swirling blues and whites which resemble clouds above the Earth.  Today's main sources of Blue Lace Agate are Namibia and South Africa, but deposits have also been found in Brazil, India, Mexico, Nepal, and the United States.

It is stated that Blue Lace Agate is used to remove stress and decrease anxiety and depression. It is a calm, tranquil stone that can help to lessen anger, uneasiness, and nervousness. Blue Lace Agate is sometimes called as the “Stone of Joy.”  It is also believed to ease the harsh edge off communication in difficult times, enhance public speaking, and smooth discussions. It also brings tactfulness to speech and written communications.
